At Taboonia, family, community, and the shared joy of coming together are at the very heart of everything we cook and serve. 

This dedication memorial page is deeply personal to us, as our own chef, along with his brother, are both survivors of the Nova Music Festival Massacre that occurred on October 7, 2023. 

What was meant to be a celebration of "friends, love, and infinite freedom" became a tragic night that changed our lives and our world forever. We hold close the memory of the 378 beautiful souls lost, the security personnel who fought to protect them, and the hostages taken that day.

We pray for the healing of survivors and the loved ones of those lost in this tragic incident and join in the dedications for victims of this senseless event. 

Through every dish we create, we carry forward the resilient spirit of the Tribe of Nova. Our kitchen is not just a place of work, but a sanctuary of healing and a testament to the strength of survival. 

We stand in profound solidarity with all the survivors and their families, embodying the community's powerful vow to dance again. We invite you to join us in honoring their memory, supporting their ongoing healing journeys, and celebrating the enduring light that guides us forward every single day. 

We will never hide who we are, what has happened to us, and the pride we have in our community as we remember and reflect on this attack.
