Druze Culture & Heritage

The Druze are a small ethno-religious community whose origins trace back to the 11th century in the Levant. They predominantly reside in Israel, Lebanon, Syria, and Jordan. Druze traditions emphasize the importance of family, hospitality, loyalty, humility, and caring for one's community. Meals are often shared around a common table, where generosity and conversation are valued as highly as the food itself.

Druze cuisine reflects the rich landscapes of the Levant culture, featuring fresh vegetables, herbs, olive oil, grains, legumes, yogurt, and seasonal ingredients. These staples come together to create dishes that are flavorful, balanced, and naturally wholesome.

At Taboonia, we honor these Druze traditions while presenting them with a contemporary twist for catering, events, and everyday dining.
